People for Peace & Justice Sandusky County
The PPJ community began in 2006 and continues to bring together Sandusky County residents and friends who want to work together for peace, social justice, and environmental sanity.
Education: We aim to educate both ourselves and our community through our public speaker events and our display booths where we have conversations with area residents at local events.
Advocacy: We engage in legislative advocacy and petition drives on causes that make a difference in our community.
Action: We stand for peace and justice at weekly vigils in Fremont. We’ve traveled to Toledo, Columbus, and Washington, DC to rally and march for peace and justice in a number of causes over the years.
Meetings: We meet on the third Wednesday of the month at First United Church of Christ, 1500 Tiffin Rd., Fremont. Meetings begin with a potluck at 6:30 pm, followed by business, program, and discussion. We end at 8:30 pm. All are welcome!
