- We in People for Peace and Justice have partnered with Justice for Migrant Women to draft a Resolution supporting the immigrant community in Fremont. It will be discussed at the next Fremont City Council’s Laws, Resolutions and Ordinances Committee meeting on June 4th at 6:30 pm. If the Committee approves it, it will be introduced to the City Council.
- Join us at the City Council meeting on June 4th, at 6:30pm, at the Municipal Building, so Council members realize how many people are behind this effort. Let’s pack the room!
- We are introducing it during Immigrant Heritage Month to send the message that we recognize immigrants’ contributions to Fremont and acknowledge our immigrant history.
- Unity Pledge signatures will be shared with Council members before their meeting so they can see how many people actually care about this. Show your support for our immigrant community members at the link below.
