Arnold “Skip” Oliver has graciously accepted our invitation to speak on the Ukraine-Russia conflict at the next meeting of People for Peace & Justice, Oct. 16th.

Skip’s article “Let’s Rethink the War in Ukraine” caught our attention in the spring issue of Peace and Planet News. A series of short articles he has written on the Ukraine-Russia conflict are at this link.

Skip is a retired political science professor at Heidelberg University and lives in Sandusky. He is a Vietnam War veteran and member of Veterans For Peace. He helped restore, sail, and host the historic sailboat, The Golden Rule, that set sail in 1958 to stop nuclear weapons tests in the Marshall Islands.
